This is my 4th year teaching Hebrew School at Temple CAV. I have also taught computers, Spanish, and other elementary subjects. I am originally from Chicago. |
Our class meets every Sunday from 9:45am to 10:45am
and Tuesdays from 6:15-7:15pm
We have also begun a new curriculum. Mitkadem (translates to 'moving forward') is a program that allows students to work at their own pace. They complete levels (ramote) with Hebrew vocabulary, grammar, prayers, and more, are tested, and then advance.
In addition to this program, our classes are supplemented with educational, Hebrew-oriented games. Students engage in friendly competition with each other, or themselves, in such classic games as Hangman, Jewpardy, Name That Prayer, Hebrew Bee, and more!
