Class had so much fun this week as Nili Ben-Yehoshu (who is the Hebrew Director) made shell necklaces with the children.The shells were brought back from the shores of Jerusalem, and are only found in the Mediterranean Sea. The class planted parsley in hopes that it will be in full bloom for Passover. The class also read a story about Queen Esther and took home coloring books of the story. As the story was read, every time we mentioned Haman’s name, the children shook their groggers and made sounds as a preparation for Purim services. On March 9^th the school will be having a costume Purim assembly with the Purim Carnival to follow afterwards.
Please consider bringing a cake, or pastries. They can be store-bought if you do not have time to bake.  They are needed for the cakewalk at the carnival.
