We undertake several fundraisers each year to supplement our budget. Please consider patronizing them as ways to support the Temple:

"Treasures and Traditions," the Temple cookbook, shown below, featuring 300 mouthwatering recipes from our own kitchen mavens at Achduth Vesholom, is now on sale for $18. Sales benefit the Religious School.

Corned Beef on Rye - Sure to Satisfy Fundraiser - next is October 28, 2010
Passover Food Fundraiser Order a sumptuous holiday meal prepared by our talented chefs in the Achduth Vesholom Religious School Kitchen and ready for the first Seder on Monday March 29, 2010. Let us make your Passover preparation easier. Proceeds support our school. Contact the Temple office at 744-4245 for an order form. Specify the amount of homemade chopped liver, chicken soup, brisket, tzimmes, gefilte fish and horseradish you need for your family and friends. Then return with payment by the order deadline of Friday, March 5. We’ll cook only the amount that has been ordered, so please do not miss this opportunity. Pick up your order on Sunday, March 28 or Monday morning, Marh 29. Purchase Kroger Gift Cards You can help the Temple while doing your regular grocery shopping at Kroger and Scott’s. Purchase a Kroger gift card through the congregation in denominations from $5 to $500. For every $5,000 our members spend, the Temple receives $250. When your card runs out of money, you simply reload it at any Kroger or Scott’s. Grocery gift cards are great presents for family, friends, students, teachers…anybody. They can be used to purchase anything, not just food. These act like pre-paid credit cards. And when the dollars dwindle, just reload the card at the store to begin helping the Temple again. No need to re-order. The cards can be used indefinitely by refilling them. To order a card to benefit the Temple, simply write a check made payable to Kroger in the amount you want to spend. Drop it off at the Temple office at 5200 Old Mill Road. Please include your phone number and address. We appreciate your support since this is an easy way for everyone to help. “And You Shall Be A Blessing” A new quilted wall hanging in the Social Hall celebrates special moments in the lives of Temple members. It features a large swath of fabric in beautiful blue hues and contains Stars of David embroidered with congregants’ simchas. Be among the first to commemorate an anniversary, wedding, birthday, b’nei mitzvah, graduation, or other happy event by purchasing a large or small star for $360 or $180. Consider honoring a child, grandchild, spouse, family member or friend. Purchases benefit the Temple’s Endowment Fund. Order forms are available in the Temple office. Thank you for your support of this lasting tribute to memorable and joyous occasions. Shop at the Temple Gift Shop. Check out the Temple Gift Shop for lots of unique items, whether you’re looking for hostess gifts or something special for a b’nei mitzvah, birthday or anniversary. See us for Seder plates and Haggadahs, too. Stop by Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or contact the office during the week. Questions or special orders? Contact the Temple office at 744-4245. Provide A Gift for the Future The generosity of individuals is the foundation of Congregation Achduth Vesholom. Please remember us with a donation to the Temple’s Endowment Fund or in your estate to help ensure a strong future for Reform Judaism in northeast Indiana. For more information on planned giving or other donor opportunities, contact the Temple office at 744-4245.
