Our class meets every Sunday from 10:45am to 11:45am.

Thanks to all the parents of our 4th grade students who support the religious school with their commitment and energy.

March 25
Today we will again be joining the 3rd grade in our annual "Mock Seder." We will be making matzah along with Sephardic and Ashkenazic charoset. The kids love this tradition.  All are welcome to attend.

Our class has been studing about the Shma and Veahavta, which are considered the most important statements of our Jewish faith, and why they are nicknamed the "Watchword of our Faith." It is so central to Jewish identity that we put it in the mezuzah that we affix to our homes' doorposts. This helps to remind us how we are supposed to live when we are at home, out in the world, when we return, and especially when we are with our families.

March 11
Our 4th grade class, and their parents, discussed the significance of Jewish symbols, particularly the mezuzah.  We designed to take home and hang on a doorpost.
