Continuing Education
November 21, 2008

The Temple provides a stimulating arena where Jews can learn about their heritage and where views on important topical issues can be shared. The offerings traditionally have included weekly daytime study groups, evening adult education classes, outreach opportunities for those interested in Jewish life, an annual Scholar-in-Residence weekend, and adult bar/bat mitzvah classes.

  • Laugh, learn and leave enriched on Thursday mornings with Rabbi Katz’s weekly study group. The group meets from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Temple library to delve into fascinating topics. See the calendar for dates. All are welcome.
  • Torah study on Saturday mornings at 9:30 a.m. before the 10:30 a.m. Shabbat service. Find new meanings in the Torah by taking a closer look with Rabbi Katz. Due to special programming, check the calendar for Torah study dates.
  • Adult education opportunities are numerous, including a scholar-in-residence weekend and special classes throughout the year. Consult the calendar
    for current offerings.
