Don’t call it a Trivial Pursuit because we’ll be having fun for all ages on Saturday, January 12 as our way of coming together to chase away the winter blues.
The Jewish community is invited to join us at 6 p.m. at the Temple for Havdalah, followed by a potluck dinner at 6:30 p.m., with games from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come for all or part of the evening.
We ask you to sign up here to provide a main course or side dish, salad, dessert or other specialty for 6-8 people to share. If you’d prefer a beverage other than water, tea or coffee, there is an option to sign up to bring that as well. We’ll have popcorn to munch, too.
Adults, teens and children: Please bring your favorite board games, playing cards or even ideas for Charades. We’ll have mah jongg and other games available from the Temple Library. Looking for a game of Euchre? We’ll be ready. If you don’t have a Clue, we’re Sorry. We’ll Scrabble to Bridge the gap with Pictionary, Balderdash, Aggravation and Apples to Apples on hand. For those who prefer electronics, proceed to the Wii. (Please label your game with your name.)
Please RSVP to the Temple office at (260) 744-4245 no later than Friday, January 4. Feel free to let us know what games you’ll be bringing. We look forward to a fun evening of socializing and friendly competition. Donations to offset the cost of the event are appreciated.
Thank you to our organizers: Nola Katinsky (chair), Denny Reynolds, Samara Sheray, Betsy Gephart, and Beth Zweig.
