Temple members are invited to join us for our third Temple Book Club of the year on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 p.m. when we videoconference with Lauren Belfer about her book And After the Fire. Through her historical fiction, the author focuses on the fascinating connections between the Jewish community and several of the world’s famous composers.

Please RSVP to the Temple office at (260) 744-4245.

Read the book and join us on in the Madge Rothschild Resource Center.

Already this year, we've explored immigration and Jewish holidays. In November, we read From Every End of This Earth: 13 Families and the New Lives They Made in America by Steven V. Roberts. In February, we video-conferenced with Abigail Pogrebin on My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew, which told the author’s personal story of her exploration and observance of a complete calendar of Jewish holidays.

All three titles are now available in the Rabbi Richard B. Safran Library. Find more good reading through the Jewish Book Council.
