About Us

Minimize

Congregation Achduth Vesholom traces its roots to 1848, distinguishing us as the oldest Jewish congregation in Indiana. Since its founding, the Temple has resided in four locations. Our current facility on Old Mill Road became our home in 1961.

We invite you to get acquainted with our storyour building and our beautiful artwork. Please consider becoming a member.

Our learning programs provide a stimulating arena where Jews can learn about their heritage and where views on important topical issues can be shared. One of the best parts of being a Temple member is the fellowship offered through worship, education and social events. One of our goals is to try to make everyone feel comfortable at the Temple. We participate in mitzvah programs, interfaith programming and outreach efforts. Our focus on children and teens includes religious school, youth group, family education and b’nei mitzvah training.
